Café Laurent—where every meal feels like a delightful escape to the charming streets of France.

I never leave reviews but felt compelled to as I thought the dining experience here was fantastic. All of the staff were extremely friendly and so attentive. We were asked multiple times if we wanted coffee and water refills, how are meal was, and if we needed anything. The service was fast, portions HUGE!, and everything was beyond delicious. They also accommodated seating for 2 infants and 2 strollers. I will 10000% be returning!

First I apologize for no pictures. My phone was dead when we got there. Really cute place tables inside and outside and an outdoor tented area with heaters. Great looking menu with sandwiches salad, quiches, and omelettes. We ordered a croissant sandwich and a quiche the day. The sandwich was good, but the quiche was REALLY dry and overcooked. The au gratin potatoes were oily, but tasty.

Café Laurent: A Hidden Gem with Heart Café Laurent is the kind of place that's getting harder and harder to find--a cozy café where the food is always amazing, the ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the owners and staff treat you like family. It's rare to walk into a spot where they remember your favorite order and greet you with genuine kindness, but that's exactly what happens here. My go-to? The waffle with fresh strawberries, a side of bacon (not crispy!), and a café au lait--perfect every time. Whether you're craving a leisurely breakfast, a relaxed brunch with friends, or just a quiet moment with a great meal, Café Laurent delivers. The food is consistently delicious, the service is friendly, and there's not a hint of pretense--just a beautiful, inviting space where you can enjoy a great meal and feel right at home. The only "ugh" is the weekend parking--thanks to the nearby farmers market, finding a spot can be a bit of a challenge. But somehow, we always manage, and trust me, it's so worth it. We were heartbroken when they were forced out of their Culver City location (boo!), but thank goodness they found a new home. If you're looking for good food, a great atmosphere, and a café that feels like a little slice of Paris with a lot of heart, Café Laurent is it.

So first time at this place . Love the atmosphere. The service was good ordered something that I never ordered and have never tried before but it was delicious. I had the crêpe filled almost like I was having an omelette. It was so delicious. The only thing about this place is it was very expensive. $33 each we split the check for our meal and a latte . Give it a try the food was delicious and again I love the atmosphere and the lattes were delicious.

Amazingly friendly staff, very warm and welcoming. That was so refreshing and pleasant! It feels like a really special, neighborhood place, and I love that vibe. The setting is great. Charming, colorful and warm. It's casual, inviting and unpretentious. The food is so good! The menu is incredible- It's honestly hard to decide on something because everything sounds SO GOOD. You won't be disappointed. The French toast tastes like bread pudding, it's heavenly. Seriously. The potatoes au gratin are to die for. Parking is kind of annoying, but you'll figure it out. Just drive a block and a half up and park on Venice Boulevard. Looking forward to going back to try more things! Thanks for a great experience. The warm welcome, smiles and kindness really stand out.

Stopped by Saturday morning with my friend. Cute but smaller restaurant. It wasn't very busy. Staff were friendly and gave us some bread on the house. I ordered the Breakfast Paris Sandwich with Potato Gratin and Fresh Seasonal Fruit. The croissant was great. Very flakey, crisp, and buttery. Everything else was pretty standard. Nothing really stood out to my friend and I. Overall, I'd recommend if you're looking for a breakfast spot in the area but not necessarily a must try. Parking: A little tough. There is paid street parking. Got lucky and found free parking in the neighborhood behind.

I loved Cafe Laurent when they were at their previous location. This location makes parking a lot harder and I feel the layout is weird. Still, the food is delicious, if not a bit pricey. Service is really kind though not particularly fast.

I haven't been to this space since Atmosphere Café had closed down, so it was nice to see how Café Laurent redecorated the space. I'm glad they kept the side patio space because it's my favorite part. In honor of the Olympics happening in Paris, why not have some French food! The quiche aux olives was a generous portion and I enjoyed every bite. The side salad and potato gratin were both delicious as well. The only critique is that the potato gratin had a tad too much cheese for my taste. It was more cheese than potato. There is NO shortage of cheese on the menu, so rest assured you are taken care of, cheese lovers! My friend had the skirt steak medium rare and she said it was great and would order it again in a heartbeat. Cheers to Pedro for delivering on attentive and hospitable service!
